Hello!

My name is Huimin Liu, and I am a PhD candidate in Philosophy at the University of Notre Dame, specializing in early modern European philosophy. My research focuses on the interplay between metaphysics, epistemology, and philosophy of mind in the early modern period, particularly through my dissertation on Spinoza’s doctrine of parallelism. I am passionate about both teaching and engaging with the academic community, having presented my work at various academic gatherings and earned recognition for my teaching excellence. Outside of philosophy, I enjoy photography as a creative outlet. For more details about my research, teaching, and photography, please explore the dedicated pages on this website.
